Our orchard has over 1,500 trees: apple, peach, pear, plum and cherries.
The farm has over 30 varieties of apples, such as Ginger Gold, Dandy Red, Valstar, Staymen, Honey Crisp, Gala, etc.
Our newest addition to the farm! We offer white and yellow peach varieties.
We offer pears as our sturdy fruit. Did you know that pear trees are among the oldest fruit trees to be cultivated by humans?
At our farm, we pride ourselves on growing a diverse array of produce, including lettuces, cole crops (i.e., cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, turnips), peppers, eggplant and more. We are committed to quality and sustainable farming practices. Beyond our fields, we also raise chickens and sell cage-free eggs. And as the season comes to its end, we make delightful homemade jams.
With over two acres, we grow green and purple asparagus, which contains high levels of antioxidants and a good source of vitamins.
We have over 30 types of heirloom tomatoes.
Our eggs are from a variety of birds, making each egg unique in size and color.
Honeybees play a crucial role in our agroecosystem, the dynamic interaction between crops, animals, soil, water and surrounding environment within the farm. They are our primary pollinators; they add biodiversity (healthier and more resilient crops); and they give us tasty honey.
Our Butterbean Honey comes from bees pollinating butterbeans (lima and other beans) in Delaware. It has a very smooth and mild taste and is not super sweet or super strong. It's a great honey for just about anything from that cup of tea to a bowl of yogurt, to sweet cakes and other gooey treats. This is a perennial favorite among honey lovers and our best seller.
Our Wildflower Honey captures the nectar from myriad of flowering trees, shrubs and flowers in Delaware. The honeybees love to fly from flower to flower returning the nectar from a multitude of blossoms to their hive. All these nectars combine to create a full-bodied, hearty honey. It has a deep, rich flavor that is typically not as sweet as the Clover Honey. Many people enjoy this heartiness and prefer to use this honey as their table honey and in their cooking and baking.
Clover Honey is sweet, light honey with possibly just a hint of cinnamon undertones. It is a great table honey that goes well with just about anything that can use sugar. You can drizzle it on your cereal and yogurt for a pleasant surprise!
